On the 11th of November 2010 the authorized president representative of the Russian Federation was on a working visit in the Omsk region, in the Siberian Federal okrug. Within the framework of his business programme Victor Tolokonsky accompanied by the governor of the Omsk region Leonid Polezhaev and the Minister of the Omsk region economics Igor Muraev visited the region Expo Centre, where he acquainted with the exposition of the 14 enterprises, on the stands of which there were represented the developments in nanotechnology.
During the time of the exposure visit the director general of the closed scientifically productive corporation “Vega – 2000 – The Siberian Organics” Dmitry Shipitsin brought to the attention of the senior government officials the prepared by the enterprise project “The development of the technology for production of the nanoporous sorbents based on natural ecologically clean raw materials – lacustrine sapropel”.
In the course of the discussion the Minster of the Omsk region economics Igor Muraev expressed in support for the project and particularly emphasized its complexity and importance to the regional economy.
