SAPROPEL FODDER ADDITIONS

Sapropel fodder is a valuable fodder addition containing a set of special biologically active substances which boost productivity of pigs, cattle and poultry. It also stimulates immune activity of organism.

The sapropel fodder addition is used in original state at moisture content of less than 65% as a fodder component of a ration of all cattle and poultry. Dry sapropel fodder can be used for preparing all kinds of mixed fodder as an organomineral premix and as a filling material for producing vitaminized premixes.

Nature took care about our cattle. Thousands years it has been making unique extra-fodder, containing all indispensable nutritious matters and medical components, which normalize metabolism , reproduction functions and raise protective strength of organism. It's been long time since sapropel, peat, bentonic clays, marl are used for the medical and preventive purposes. Sapropel is used as a fodder addition not only for cutting off fodder consumption, but in order to encrease contents of mineral substances, aminoacids, vitamins and biologically active matters. Sapropel is a valuable vitamin-mineral fodder addition.

In Omsk region studying of availability if sapropel in poultry feeding first was taken up by West Siberian regional poultry-breeding farm in 1995 and is been carried out now. This scientific research has important practical meaning, because makes it possible to improve feeding quality at broiler growing by usage of cheap and non-hazard sapropel, which contains biologically active matters.

Sapropel usage efficiency at feeding of broilers depends on the way of feeding (unlimited, by replacement of a part of ration, including to fodder mixture), dosage and moisture content. Insertion of sapropel into the ration change the rate of consuming fodder mixture, digestability and uptake nutritious matters, growing and meat productivity, economic indexes of meat production. Insertion of sapropel into broilers ration decreased total cost of fodder in experimental group by 7,24-17,74% compared with the check one.

There were also laying hens of C line cross "Loman brown" experimented. Two groups were composed: experimental and a check one, at insertion of 5, 10, 15% of sapropel into ration by replacement of fodder mixture. These measures raised the safety rate by 3-6%, improved eggs quality (content of vitamins and carrotine, shell thickness), increased output of incubation eggs.

Tests showed that application of sapropel stimulates poultry growth, their viability, improvement of eggs quality, fodder economy and cutting of production cost. Information on application of sapropel in poultry feeding at Regional experimental poultry-breeding farm is enclosed.

"Vega-2000" company sells sapropel as a fodder addition to the poultry-breeding farms of Omsk region since 2000. Taking to account high demand on fodder and its high prices, "Vega-2000" can deliver about 2000 tons of cheaper fodder addition, what will help the cutting of feeding cost.

Application of sapropel vitamin admixtures of at the cattle- and pig-breeding farms of Omsk region in winter will allow to reduce expenses, on feeding and cattle stock safety.

Usage of sapropel results in following:

• 8 times cutting expenses on obtaining of a head of stock by replacing 10 %-15 % of mixed fodder with sapropel
• sapropel improves general physiological characteristics, such as fodder consuming, immunity etc
• giving up necessity of addition of chalk, marl and other premixes to the fodder
• reduction of the sick-rate and increase of cattle safety. It happens for the biologically active substances contained in sapropel. At realization of scientific researches, no exciters of illnesses were revealed in sapropel
• The fodder sapropel makes a positive effect on all physiological processes in organism, in particular it prevents rachitis among calfs and pigs and stimulates fertility
